5th Grade Computer--11/10and 11/17
It is vital that writers notice well; that they develop an eye (and ear and nose) for significant, yet perhaps small details. The task today is to write a "Noticing Poem" about something you have done or experienced. The poem should focus on sounds, smells, and words, and should follow exactly the formula in the example given in class. The theme for this poem is "I know Thanksgiving." Students will be using COPY and PASTE and HANGING INDENTS to format the poem correctly
Next week, students will make any necessary corrections and then print their poems on special paper. They can then practice their keyboarding skills or design a Thanksgiving card.
