Creating a 30 Second Campaign Ad
Television and video advertisements have transformed the way we elect political candidates. Students will begin by analyzing the development and impact of political ads over history from the campaign of Dwight Eisenhower to Bill Clinton. We will discuss different types of ads and how different video elements can be used to produce a positive or negative ad. Finally students will have the opportunity to create their own ad for the candidate of their choice. Directions for this project can be found on the "30 Second Candidate" page on this blog.
