Planning a Trip
Now that students have researched the locations of a number of different landmarks throughout the country, they will have the opportunity to plan a trip to five of them. First they will create a chart in Microsoft Word to show the mileage. Then they will use Mapquest to get the actual mileage from each starting point to the next landmark, finally finishing back at their original starting location, Kansas City, MO.
