Snow Compute This
What was the largest amount of snow we have ever gotten in one snowstorm here in Kansas City, and when did it happen? What is wind chill and how is it calculated? When does a snowstorm become a blizzard? Students naturally have an interest in snow (and snow days). This activity combines finding information, analyzing and graphing data, and answering questions. Students will be using an Internet browser, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
