More with Microsoft Excel
We have learned how to use a spreadsheet program to create graphs and charts, but the real power of a spreadsheet is in its ability to do calculations. Starting today, students will learn how to set up formulas that will calculate totals and figure averages. They will then convert the decimal averages into percentages as they create their own individual grade books.

Students will also brush up on spreadsheet vocabulary and diagrams in preparation for a little quiz to be announced later. Vocabulary flash cards can be found at Quizlet.com or by searching "jmwillets" in the 6th grade Quizlet ipad app. Students can view and download the following diagram.
