Graphing With Excel
Spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel help us to compare data in an easy-to-read chart or graph. Creating graphs and charts is an important skill for many subject areas.
In this week's activity, students will be using Excel to set up a chart and graph comparing data about hibernating and non-hibernating animals. The information will be pulled from page 194 in their science text. In addition students will enhance their graphs by adding images from the web. We will use this opportunity to talk about common license, fair use, and copyright. Students will learn how to do an advanced Google search to find free use images.
