What is the Motive?
--Activity 1: We will begin by looking at video genres, in particular the documentary. We will answer the question, "What is a documentary?" We will explore some of the motives behind documentary programs:
- to educate
- to inform
- to entertain
- for self-expression
- to persuade
- to make money
