6th Grade Computer

Graphing With Excel

Spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel help us to compare data in an easy-to-read chart or graph. Creating graphs and charts is an important skill for many subject areas.

In this week's activity, students will be using Excel to set up a chart and graph comparing data about hibernating and non-hibernating animals. The information will be pulled from page 194 in their science text.  In addition students will enhance their graphs by adding images from the web.

NOTE: Time will be provided at the beginning of the class to finish last week's web search activity on Speds.org.
